More teamwork for Ukraine!

I am really pleased to share another good news story about cooperation between like minded groups, all to benefit Ukraine.

Cumbrian candle company Wax Lyrical reached out to me with regards to our “Trench Candle” campaign and our appeals for wax.

The company wanted to contribute. So in order to make sure the wax reached Ukraine efficiently and quickly, we discussed options and made arrangements for the donation of nearly 2.5 tonnes of wax to be delivered to our friends at Cumbria Aid Ukraine.

As far as I’m concerned, there is no place for competition in terms of who can get what to Ukraine. The important thing is to find ways of gathering donations and getting them to the right people as quickly and as cost effectively as possible.
