In April 2026, we were honoured to have been presented with a special certificate of appreciation by the Mayor of Chorley (Cllr Alistair Morwood) in recognition of our efforts at the ‘Ukraine Unit’ donation centre in Chorley.

Group coordinator Stuart Clewlow and Volunteer Joseph accepted the award on behalf of all the hard working Volunteers. It was nice to be amongst representatives from a dozen or so other well supported, hard working and valued organisations from across Chorley & District. Well done to everyone.
